Monash Medical Centre Tower Expansion

There will be some reallocation of services within the Monash Medical Centre site at Clayton and we will ensure that disruption will be communicated and minimised while construction is underway.

There will be no change for patients accessing the Monash Medical Centre’s emergency department.

• Temporary changes to traffic and pedestrian flow for the main entrance from Clayton Road.
• Temporary changes to public parking off Dixon Street.  
• Temporary relocation of the drop-off area for the Monash Children’s Hospital to Fregon Road.
• A new taxi/ride share pick up point near McCulloch House.

The main tower will be constructed on top of the existing emergency department, which was designed and constructed specifically to enable this expansion project, boosting capacity at what is our biggest site and busiest emergency department.
