From newborn care to AI in healthcare, ageing well to first-in-human trials — Research & Innovation Week brings together 5 days of research and innovation shaping care across Monash Health.

Whether you're a researcher, clinician, student or simply curious about what's next in healthcare, there's a session for you.

Here's a taste of what's on:

Monday 7 September — Women's, newborn and mental health sessions, including cord blood therapies for preterm infants, plus the Homegrown Innovation Showcase.

Tuesday 8 September — Paediatric research programs across 2 morning sessions at Monash Children's Hospital. 

Wednesday 9 September Challenges of Being First: precision medicine, first-in-human trials and rare disease registries, plus a free public panel event moderated by multi-award-winning broadcaster Tegan Taylor, A community conversation: AI, big data and health.

Thursday 10 SeptemberSurgical innovation live from Victorian Heart Hospital, including robotic surgery and cardiac monitoring and Allied Health programs online in the afternoon.

Friday 11 September Golden Years, closing the week with research on memory, mobility and healthy ageing.
