Racism in healthcare

You are invited to join a safe group discussion and share your experiences.

To make Monash Health’s Anti-Racism plan strong and meaningful, we want to hear from many different cultures about their experiences and ideas.

Every voice is needed

We want to hear from people of diverse cultural backgrounds to develop our first Anti-Racism Workplan, tailored to our people, consumers, and communities.

Who can join?

  • Anyone from a multicultural background who uses or has used Monash Health services.

Why we need community input

  • Everyone should feel safe, respected and included.
  • Your stories help us understand when racism happens.

About the discussion

  • What you say in the session will be kept private.
  • It will be held in a safe and supportive community space.
  • A trained person from MindTribes will run the discussion.
  • You choose what to share. You can stop at any time.

We’re working with MindTribes, a leading Australian diversity, equity, and inclusion organisation.

MindTribes will not tell Monash Health staff your name or personal details.

Please note the event at Wellsprings for Women on 1 April is at capacity.
